The Art of Florence Thomas $50
This beautiful 144-page, hardback book combines a biography of Florence Thomas with color reproductions of 124 of her paintings. Most are accompanied by her actual thoughts as to her intentions and technique of each. Information on the her training and artistic development, her sense of composition and especially color, and life on her 400-acre farm on the North Carolina-Virginia state line are also included. Published in 2004. Florence Thomas died March 30, 2007, at 98 years of age.
