What better way to immortalize your favorite pet than with a painting.  Instructor Susan Dahlin demonstrates how to bring your babies to life using her favorite Charvin oil paint and a simple palette knife.  Whether it’s a dog, cat or even a pig, this one day course will help carve character into your creatures.  Students are encouraged to bring several high quality photos of their pets.  The clearer the photo, the better the outcome!

Susan Dahlin

A graduate of Penn State University, Susan Dahlin comes from a long lineage of artists. Her father, a portrait painter, got her started at the young age of six with a box of oils and a paintbrush. Today, Susan has traded in that brush for a simple palette knife she uses to carve texture and vibrant color into every piece she creates. Her work is shown and sold in galleries across the state.
