Advanced Techniques in Oil Sticks with Paul deMarrais
Experienced Beginner – Advanced
All Materials Provided
It’s been nearly eight years since I began work on my own line of oil sticks. At first they seemed hard to control, but as I gained experience and refined my sticks, I found that an artist can go in any direction with them. In this workshop I’ll focus on demonstrating how to paint detail, how to use dry and wet glazing techniques to build rich color and building textures with palette knives. In my workshops, artists always surprise me with new ways they invent to use these oil sticks! Come join me for a fun and challenging experience with oil sticks. You will be amazed at what you can do with them! If you have been to my class before, come again and we’ll learn some more! I will supply all the materials you will need.
