Landscape Accordian Books with Cynthia Cukiernik
Grades 1 – 3 meet from 10 am – 12 pm.
Grades 4 – 7 meet from 1 pm – 3 pm
Topics discussed include: Landscape, Narrative, Characters, Pattern and Color
Skills covered include: cutting, gluing, folding, illustrating, painting and writing.
Accordion books can be viewed as individual pages or as one long book. This special quality makes them lovely for long landscapes that contain a narrative. Students will talk about landscape and stories, with extra focus on the mountains. They will build their own books and create their own illustrated narratives.
