Painting Trees in Watercolor with JoAnn Pippin
First Friday Workshop
All Materials Provided
JoAnn Pippin will focus on painting trees in landscapes. Using both brush and non-brush techniques in watercolor, she will demonstrate how to capture the characteristics of different types of trees, and how to shortcut rendering tree shapes. If you are the kind of artist who gets hung up on painting the trees leaf-by-leaf, or if you are spending too much time on the trees and not the subject of your landscape, this 3-hour hands-on demonstration of techniques will culminate when you create a card to take home. Bring tree photos to give us a challenge!
