Blue Ridge Art Clan (BRAC)
The Blue Ridge Art Clan (BRAC) was founded by Florence Thomas in 1978 to promote and uphold excellence in the fine arts. Dedicated to fostering creativity, BRAC provides opportunities for education, artistic expression, and appreciation of the arts within the community.
About
​BRAC welcomes both professional and hobby artists who are passionate about learning, creating, and appreciating the fine arts. Through programs, workshops, and critiques, BRAC fosters connection and growth within the artistic community. Monthly meetings are held at Florence Thomas Art School on the 4th Saturday of each month from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, running April through October. Additional winter critiques take place at various locations in West Jefferson. Visitors are always welcome to join!
