Jessa holds a B.F.A in Art Education (K-12) from Appalachian State University and began her art career as a Middle School Art Teacher in South Carolina. Her expertise spans across a wide array of artistic mediums, making her a versatile and well-rounded artist and educator. With a deep-seated passion for arts education and creating opportunities for artists, Jessa is committed to fostering growth and creativity within our community.​​

McCartney earned a master’s degree in English with a specialization in science and medical writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She has extensive experience working with nonprofit organizations, reflecting her commitment to serving and supporting others. McCartney’s academic background in the humanities, combined with years of nonprofit involvement, showcases her dedication to making a meaningful impact locally and beyond. 

Leila Spriggs, a Cincinnati native, has a rich and diverse background in the arts and culinary world. After studying dance and photography at Ohio State University, she trained as a chef and went on to run restaurant kitchens and own a catering business. Leila’s artistic pursuits also include custom picture framing, woodworking, and photography. Her varied experiences reflect a lifelong passion for creativity and craftsmanship.​​​​
